So Rob and Noa decided to be cunts this week and have "other plans". Rob is at the Brutal Truth/Pig Destroyer/Repulsion show, and Noa decided to go to Israel. So we semi-proudly present to you another Metal Injection LiveCast Mixtape. This compilation features troubled teens, sex toys, washed up metal singers, soon-to-be-washed-up metal guitarists, hard drugs, radio personalities and perverted game shows. So yeah, it's basically like every other show we've ever done, but more tightly edited. You're welcome.

Guitarist Waclaw "Vogg" Kieltyka of Polish extreme metallers DECAPITATED has finally named a replacement for his late brother, Witold "Vitek" Kieltyka, whose 2007 death shocked and saddened the extreme metal community. An incedibly talented and promising youg drummer, Vitek was only 23 when he died in a Russian hospital on November 2, 2007 after suffering from the extensive injuries he sustained in a road collision involving the band's tour bus and a truck carrying wood in Gomel (on the Russia/Belarus border) earlier that year. The band's singer, Adrian "Covan "Kowanek, was also severely injured in the crash, and, according to a statement from his family, "is getting a little and slowly better. Adrian's family would like to thank fans and all the people for their support, donations, patience and faith."

In a new statement on the band's official Myspace, Vogg said, "It's time to introduce [the] dude who will continue the great way of Witek's passion in the band. His name is Kerim Lechner, a very young and very talented drummer from Austria." (more…)

Man, this who Ozzy/Zakk Wylde thing is becoming the feud of the summer. Yesterday, we posted an audio bit of Zakk acting like his girlfriend just broke up with him and now it seems he is going on a national publicity breakup tour as there is ANOTHER interview he did and the dude is just digging a deeper grave it seems. If anything, this is leading to some humorous quotes, such as the following nugget of joy:

"I'm just like… You could play with anybody you want. Put it this way… It's like my wife… You can be with any guy you wanna be with. But you know what?! If you're gonna be banging a guy in our bed, at least let me watch so I can enjoy it. Let me in on the skinny… what's going on here. That's just not… I don't give a [bleep] what anyone says, it ain't [bleep]ing cool. It's like, hey, you know what?! You're just [bleep]ing on me in a back [bleep]ing alley right now and [I'll] rip your [bleep]ing head off if you're gonna pull this shit. We'll [bleep]ing find out."

WHAT? So its cool for your wife to fuck dudes as long as you watch but its not cool for Ozzy to fuck you in back alleys? Zakk is clearly a misunderstood poet. If you're reading this Zakk, here is a little tip: Shut the fuck up! You are just embarassing yourself at this point. Don't talk to the press, just figure this shit out with Ozzy and move on. Then again, that sounds kind of boring, so for our entertainment…just keep going. This is comedy gold!

As the days pass since news broke that OZZY is over Zakk, the king of the pinch harmonic has been acting more and more like a jealous ex-girlfriend. First he said, he didn't hear anything, then he said things were fine, now Zakk is pissed! The Jersey native called into a Eugene, OR radio station and was asked about the situationn and first started out complimentary of Ozzy but then slowly but surely, we see his true feelings creep out and he ends the bit cursing out Ozzy. This is comedy gold.

WTF Kerry King? During a recent interview, King was asked about current Mayhem Fest touring mates, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE and was pretty open about his disdain for Adam D.'s on stage shenanigans:

When asked about the reports that SLAYER once threw KILLSWITCH ENGAGE off one of its tours, King said "We actually didn't get able to. I tried. Because I'd never seen 'em live, and then I saw them live at some, I don't know, maybe at Kerrang! Awards over in Europe. And I'm just offended by the silliness that goes on on stage [on the part of] the guitar player [Adam Dutkiewicz]. He puts his foot in his mouth all the time and he says stupid shit, and I just didn't think that side show should be on my stage. So I pulled the plug on the spot, but on that particular Jägermeister tour, we didn't have any product and they did, so Jäger kind of insisted, and I went… They're all friends of mine, so I said, 'OK, I'll deal with it.' Still don't like it."

Wow dude, chill out! Honestly, as of late, Adam D's antics is all that keeps me interested in watching KILLSWITCH. Nothing against the band, as they are very talented musicians, but I'm just over Killswitch. I've seen them so many times that the only thing keeping me interested is "What is Adam going to do next?" With that said, I do remember the first time I saw these guys on the Headbangers Ball tour in 2004, I thought this guy is funny but this is too much. So I can see where King is coming from, but at the same time dude, settle down! The ultimate goal at a show is too have a good time and its clear KsE know how to have it.

The metal militia known as TRIVIUM have announce a Fall headlining tour, their first since 2006. They are calling the tour "‘Into the Mouth of Hell We Tour" and will be bringing with them an varied arsenal of openers with WHITECHAPEL, DARKEST HOUR and DIRGE WITHIN. So I was reading Metal Inquisition's fantastic write-up of WINDS OF PLAGUE and during the interview with frontman Johnny Plague, Sargent D asked what kind of pussy the bands got on the most extreme tour of the year, and comedy ensued:

He wasn't nearly as timid when I asked him when band had the most haggard groupies, though. Literally without a split second of hesitation, he said "Blackguard. I love them to death, don't get me wrong. They're kind of a folkish metal band. I dunno man, they just attract some real, uh, winners." I'm sure it's pretty slim pickings on these metal tours, which Johnny confirmed. "Dying Fetus pull some fuckin'… dude I don't even know what the word would be… trollish, stone age type women. I'm not saying they're hooking up with them, I don't know if that happens, but they're there in full force, drunk as fuck."

Well there you have it people. If you really want to get the ladies, maybe you do need to sound a little trendy.
